Hey we're in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm here for a training class on WebSphere Portal v5. After our little running around adventure today, we headed over to Station Square, where Pittsburgh's finest restaurants are hiding. We enjoyed an absolutely fabulous meal at The Melting Pot. Its a fondue place, we had the four course meal, starting with cheese and bread, then an amazing salad, onto seafood and steak fondue, finish it all off with a wonderful chocolate smore fondue with strawberries, bannana's, cheesecake, brownies and other goodies to dip with. Add a fine bottle of chianti to the mix, and what do you have? Probably the most amazing meal Marla and I have had in some time.

So what do you think could be better than all I've described above? Walking outside we take a quick stroll along the river to see a beautiful skyline view of the city.

But that isnt the highlight, we then wander over to the taxi stand, and hop in Darryl C. Cann's taxi. A Pittsburgh taxi driver with flare. We hop in and have the usual taxi banter, where you going? The Hilton Hotel, hey imagine that goes Darryl, so am I! I begin to wonder as we pull away why he has a clarinet next to the driver's seat. Sure enough he pops on a wonderful little jazz tune and picks up his instrument and starts serenading us as we ride. We were quite impressed. He played two wonderful songs for us, and helped turn our magical night into one that is beyond words, and we will never forget. Thanks again Darryl. The total came to the same amount as our ride out to the restaurant, but sure enough Darryl seemed to manage a much bigger tip.
