Okay so how many concerts do you go to in an average year? Myself, its probably around 2-4? Depends on the year... well one of the websites I'm working on has a connection to concerts. Marla and I landed ourselves front row tickets to Cyndi Lauper at UB. Awesome... we take the hour ride down there listening to a quick CD I threw together with 80's hits on it, including a few of Cyndi's.

Park and walk in, pick up our tickets at will call, and guess whats inside the envelope? VIP Passes! Now how many of you can say you've been to a concert and gotten those? Yeah you're jealous. Anywho the concert starts, and sure enough another surprise, kinda. Cyndi comes out, and her first song is At Last. That just happens to be the title of her latest album, but ALSO the song that Marla and I chose as our first dance. It was beautiful.

Concert proceeds as planned, it was awesome, even if I'm not the biggest fan of Cyndi, it was still a great concert I thought. Anywho, she wrapped up her set, and Marla turned to me and said "She didnt play the one I really wanted to hear!" I guessed, you mean girls just wanna have fun? Cyndi comes back out with the encore, 3 more songs, and the last one is just that.

After the shows over, we plop on our cool looking VIP stickers, and head to the back room. Hang out for a little bit, and Cyndi Lauper walks in with her flip flops on and standing 5'3". Marla towers over her, as we mention our first dance song. Cyndi looks tired, but is still managing to take a quick picture with everyone in the room while sipping her glass of white wine. A few jokes from her, and lots of signatures, and a perfect ending to a magical night with my wife.
