Flat tires... they suck. I woke up this morning, and found I had a flat tire. It was the first time I've actually had to change a flat, and it went fairly smoothly. But still... I drove the car 175 miles last night, no problem. Then I wake up and check the car, and boom flat. No reason why, but now I have to play the fix the tire game today. Ugh. Ciao.

God's Debris will have you re-evaluating your belief system, whether you are religious, agnostic, or atheist. In an engaging conversational format, Adams poses startling questions about God, probability, and its role in the way things are in the universe.
This is as close to "the meaning of life" as you'll get for the price. In addition to provocative banter concerning God, evolution, and science, God's Debris is also a fascinating look at awareness, relationships, and illusions. The deaf blind sea captain analogy is reason enough to read this book! The ending is satisfying and provides a mental goal we should all strive to reach.
Keep in mind though trying to disprove theories in this book isnt hard, but look past that angle and enjoy the situation and setting that Adams uses to help us build a better society.
God's Debris is a "must read" for anyone who loves to ask Big Questions. See you at the Fifth Level. What's that? Get this book! It's wonderful.

cooking... my grandmother learned how to cook at an early age, and made pretty much everything from scratch, without a microwave. My mother learned how to cook most things from scratch, but had help from boxes, and mixes which made things easier, you know fake mashed potatoes. Then the third generation, my generation... I dont know how to cook really, and I'd bet neither does my sister. Why? Cause everything is instant, fast food, and ready in five minutes from the microwave. I had home made cannolies over christmas, they were delicious. I think more people should give up the fast food way of life, and get back to the true nature of food. Some people will, but I also think that the fast food companies need to take a better tack in making the food we do heat up healthier for us. Technologies has advanced to keep us alive to 100, but it is also leading to our downfall through the destruction of our home, the body. What cha think?
